Call for Papers
The Committee of SHC 2019 is happy to invite you to submit your abstract for the SHC 2019 Conference.
Please read the instructions carefully before starting the upload. Only abstracts which are handed in in finished form by the deadline will be considered for the review. Details on the requirements for abstracts and the review criteria is listed in the abstract template.
Depending on the quality of your abstract, you may be invited to present a poster or oral presentation at the conference.
In case you are unfamiliar with the online submission procedure, we recommend that you submit your abstract well in advance of the deadline (February 28, 2019), to avoid any last-minute complications which could occur. Please note: It is possible to change the abstract after your first submission until the deadline in case of necessary updates. The conference language will be English. The guidelines, which also serve as a template for preparing the manuscript, can be downloaded here.
SWC 2019 uses a blind reviewing process; please don’t include any author information in your abstract. Further information is available in the template.
Authors, please note: One paper /presentation is included in each registration fee for SWC 2019 / SHC 2019.
Should an author wish to present a second/third abstract (oral or poster presentation) or a second/third abstract from a colleague, this will be subject to a fee of 50 USD per additional abstract.
The abstract upload can be completed with just a few clicks!
Please upload your abstract as an unprotected .pdf file. The length of the abstract may not exceed 3 pages. Papers which exceed 3 pages cannot be uploaded to the web site! A short summary (max 300 words) has to be inserted directly in the conference management system.
When the upload is finished, the contact person will receive a confirmation mail with a username and password. Please keep this password for our other online services, e.g. your registration. Further information concerning your presentation will follow in a second e-mail before the conference.
If the e-mail address is incorrect, the confirmation e-mail cannot be sent to you. Please make sure that your contact information is up to date and free of typing errors.
